Coffee breaks made sure that there was enough time for inspiring technical and personal exchange.
Presentations, invited key notes and an exhibition of posters and technical demonstrations provided the attendees the possibility to learn and discuss about the state of research and further developments. The visitors listened to 2 keynotes and 26 technical presentations. The keynotes gave an overview on the current situation in broadcasting and multimedia as well as on hardware platforms for multimedia signal processing. The technical presentations were split into 8 sessions with the following topics:
- Systems and Applications
- Media Networks
- Architectures
- Signal Processing
- Source Coding
Also the poster session with 25 exhibitors attracted many interested experts.
