Authors are invited to submit original technical-scientific papers for oral or poster presentations and proposals for technical demonstrations in the area of electronic media technology:
Technologies, Algorithms and Architectures
Source coding, image/video processing algorithms and architectures, display and projection technologies, 3D image generation and signal processing, storage technologies, audiovisual perception, image and video quality
Networks and Transmission
Distribution networks, broadcast systems, LTE, broadband access networks (FTTH, xDSL, cable networks), home networks, hierarchical networks, ressource management, location- and context-aware networks, gigabit local area networks
Systems and Applications
3D-TV, HDTV, 4K, UHDTV, digital cinema, IPTV, triple/quadruple play, convergence of networks and services, ambient assisted living, home automation, telemedical applications, communication and infotainment in the vehicular environment
Contributions
Contributions can either be paper or poster presentations. Technical demonstrations are also very welcome. There will be invited keynote presentations on particular topics and a special session for posters and technical demonstrations. Appropriate technical support will be available on-site.
Prospective authors are invited to submit an extended abstract of 2 pages (poster: 1 page) to submit@fernsehseminar.de in order to register a presentation or poster until 15 November 2010. Final papers (5-6 pages) will be published in conference proceedings and in IEEE Xplore. More information for authors can be found here.
